Scientific Games has officially announced that its division SG Gaming has signed a new agreement with UK-based bingo operator Gala Bingo. The deal is for a period of three years, expanding the partnership of the companies to September 2019. Under the terms of the agreement, Gala Bingo is to bring its game offerings to the online players to the UK-based gaming solutions provider.
The Managing Director of SG Gaming – Alex Stephens – commented on the news and explained that everyone at Scientific Games’ division were very happy for the fact that the relationship with Gala Coral gets even stronger. According to him, the deal would make them work harder in order to make their games offerings available for more and more customers.
The deal comes only to confirm the strong relationship that already exists between the two companies in the sector of land-based gaming options. The fact that an interactive element would be added to the offerings of SC Gaming means that the partnership between the two companies is to become even closer in order for them to be able to provide their customers with the chance to access the innovative content offerings in various ways through a range of channels.
Lately, SG Gaming has been primarily focused on further expansion of its Interactive division, and more specifically, its Internet offers. The newly-signed deal with Gala Coral is expected to offer more customers the opportunity to get to innovative content over the web. According to the terms of the agreement, the content of SG Gaming is to be brought into effective action on the GTS Edge platform. The first games to be available there are Ca$hino and Rainbow Riches, but more content is planned to be added as soon as possible.
Gala Bingo is to invest in a further 750 of its partner’s HD T8 terminals in UK-based venues, which would provide the brand with further expansion. As a result, more than 2,000 T7 and T8 connected terminals will be operated by Gala, with the latter also getting access to the leading Barcrest content library of SG Gaming.
The newly-inked agreement was also confirmed by the E-Gaming Director at Gala Coral Mark Kemp, who said that the retail business partnership of the two companies had been quite successful through the long years of their collaboration.
He also explained that the entire team was delighted to expand Gala’s partnership with SG Gaming to a new level, getting more stability in online and multi-channel gaming opportunities, especially at a time when the company’s channels were seeking to consolidate their presence through new websites and mobile applications on the market.
